Selection Process

2.    Fill in the online registration form accurately with your personal, educational, and physical details.

3.    Print your registration slip once submitted.

     Bring the registration slip along with all required original documents and medical test reports on your scheduled date.

Eligibility Criteria:

    Educational Qualification:

    Minimum Requirement: Middle pass or higher for Sipahi General Duty.

    Candidates with higher education qualifications will be given preference

    during final evaluation.

Age Limit (As of October 28, 2026):

    General Candidates: 18 to 30 years old (includes 5 years of general age relaxation granted by the government).

    Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age up to 45 years or as per government regulations, with a minimum service requirement.

5.    Schedule for Tests & Verification Centers:

Tests will be conducted at various designated recruitment centers. Candidates must report at 08:00 AM at their assigned center according to their regional schedule between July 07 and September 23, 2026 (or December 07 to December 23 depending on the center specified in your call letter/slip):

Punjab: Lahore, Mandi Bahauddin, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Narowal, and Chakwal (Islamabad).

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Kohat and Swat (Mingora).

Sindh: Hyderabad.

Balochistan: Khuzdar.

Azad Kashmir & GB: Muzaffarabad and Gilgit.

6.    Step-by-Step Selection Process:

Online Registration: Register on the official portal before August 26, 2026.

Preliminary Document Check & Physical Assessment: Height measurement, chest measurement, and running evaluation.

Written Examination: Testing basic knowledge, essay writing, and general ability.

Detailed Medical Examination: Includes tests for Hepatitis B/C, HIV, Chest X-Ray, Blood CP, ESR, Serum Creatinine, and Serum ALT.

Final Interview: Conducted by the selection panel at HQ Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) in Lahore.

7.    Important Documents Required at Test Center:

Candidates must bring original documents along with 2 sets of attested photocopies:

Educational certificates/degrees.

Valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) / Smart Card.

4 recent passport-size photographs.

No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the department head if currently employed in government/semi-government offices.

8.    Physical Standards:

Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).

Preference may be given to applicants with comparatively greater height.

Chest Size: Minimum 33 inches with a 1.5-inch expansion.

Weight: Minimum 121 lbs (approx. 55 kg) or as per Body Mass Index (BMI) standards.

Gender/Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan.

9.    Application deadline: All applications must be submitted by 23 September, 2026.

Note: Candidates discharged from any government force on disciplinary or medical grounds, or those convicted by a court of law, are ineligible to apply.
