WAPDA is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated
individual to fill the position of Director General (Medical Services) on a
contract basis.
The selected
candidate will be based in Lahore and will oversee, manage, and direct
healthcare operations across WAPDA’s nationwide network of hospitals and
dispensaries.

Selection
Process
1. Download
Application Form: Visit the official WAPDA portal at www.wapda.gov.pk and
download the prescribed job application form.
2. Gather Required
Documents: Prepare the completed application form along with:

Attested copy of Domicile certificate

Important Terms & Instructions:
Serving Government or Military officers must apply through proper
channels and submit an official NOC.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview rounds; no TA/DA
will be admissible.
All educational degrees must be duly verified by HEC-recognized
universities or concerned professional boards.
Key Roles & Core Competencies Required:
Healthcare Leadership: Ability to manage nationwide medical services and
formulate long-term health policies.
Operational Control: Strong command over hospital administration,
clinical governance, and high-quality medical standards.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of PMC/PMDC regulations, DRAP,
PPRA rules, and healthcare licensing standards.
Financial Planning & Procurement: Skilled in healthcare budgeting,
procurement, and efficient allocation of medical resources.
Emergency Management: Capacity to lead response plans for public health
risks, outbreaks, and emergency medical situations.
